Dr. Ashit Syngle is an alumni of the prestigious Post Graduate Institute of Medical Education & Research (PGIMER), Chandigarh and Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. He has professional certifications from The University of Newcastle, Australia; Ghent University Hospital, Belgium; American Academy of Continuing Medical Education; European Society of Hypertension; Joslin Clinic, Boston, USA; European Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (EACCME) & EULAR.
A post-graduate in Internal Medicine, Dr. Syngle has a stellar academic record, scoring distinctions in many subjects and being declared the 'Best Graduate'.
At PGIMER, Dr. Syngle developed a keen interest in Rheumatology. To further develop his expertise, he attended various global programs. In 1995, he started the first independent Rheumatology practice in the tri-city of Chandigarh-Panchkula-Mohali. He also started the first Rheumatology Department in Fortis Multispeciality Hospital at Mohali in 2003. He has been providing expert Rheumatology opinion to the Canadian, New Zealand & Australian High Commissions for the last 18 years. He setup the first Cardio-Rheuma clinic in Asia-Pacific in 2012.
Due to his exemplary work, Dr. Syngle has won global recognition. His biography has been included in the prestigious "Who’s Who in the World 2011" edition. He has also won several prizes at different conferences.
Dr. Syngle sits on the editorial board of Internet J of Rheumatology & Clinical Immunology. He is also the proud Editor of Rheumatology: Principles & Practice, a multi-author textbook with contributors from Europe, Australia and Asia published in 2010. His published Rheumatology research has been continuously cited in ‘Top10 Articles’ by BioMedLib. Dr. Syngle’s work has earlier been published by reputed national & international publishers: Springer, Europe; Wiley Blackwell, UK; World Scientific Publishers, Singapore; Elsevier & Jaypee, India.
Dr. Syngle is a compassionate doctor and a great researcher with passion for public health education. His talk show on World Arthritis Day & World Osteoporosis Day on FM radio and television have been a great success.
